Put on the metronome or search up a backing track (just search "A minor pentatonic backing track" on YouTube) and just play what you want within the boxes shape. Try see if you can come up with a cool melody or riff!

Try really listening to the notes and what sounds good. What separates the root from the rest? What notes sound good with the root? If you learn to really listen while playing, you will become an awesome guitarist!
