The Cdim chord

A diminished chord has a minor 3rd and a flat 5th. It sounds tense and is mostly used as a short passing chord between two others.

Numbers on the dots are fingers: 1 index, 2 middle, 3 ring, 4 pinky. ○ means play the string open and × means don't play it. Orange marks the root note. The tab reads from the low E string to the high E string.
