1. About GuitarManac
GuitarManac ("we", "our", or "us") is a website for learning guitar. It has a learning path of lessons, songs with chord charts and a play-along player, jam tracks, drills, a tuner and practice tools. A private individual based in Norway (the "Provider") owns and runs it.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using GuitarManac you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Accounts
You can use the free parts of GuitarManac without an account. Saving progress and buying Pro require an account. Clerk handles sign-in.
Keep your login details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
4. Free and Pro
Much of GuitarManac is free, including the first module of the learning path, every chord chart and the tuner. GuitarManac Pro unlocks the rest of the learning path, the full song player, jam tracks and most drills.
We may add, change or remove features, and move features between free and Pro. If we remove a Pro feature you rely on, you can cancel your subscription.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Lemon Squeezy sells GuitarManac Pro as the merchant of record. It processes your payment and handles sales tax and VAT. You buy under its terms as well as these.
- Monthly. Charged every month until you cancel.
- Yearly. Charged once a year until you cancel.
- Lifetime. One payment for Pro access with no renewal.
Checkout shows the current price. If a plan comes with a free trial, we charge you nothing until the trial ends. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing. If you do not cancel, the plan starts and renews at the price shown at checkout.
You can cancel any time from the billing page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. We do not refund the rest of a period you cancel early.
If we change the price of a plan, the new price applies from your next renewal. We tell you before it does.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Refunds
Under Norwegian and EU consumer law, consumers normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. GuitarManac Pro is digital content that unlocks right after purchase. By starting a paid plan you ask for access right away, and you waive your 14-day withdrawal right once you have that access.
Payments for subscriptions and lifetime access are final and non-refundable, except where mandatory Norwegian consumer law says otherwise. A free trial is not a payment, so cancelling during a trial costs nothing.
7. Your Data
Our Privacy Policy lists what data we collect, why, who we share it with and how to delete it.
8. Your Content
You own what you create in GuitarManac, such as your songbook, practice log and notes. You give us permission to store and show that content to you, only to run the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it to improve GuitarManac.
9. Intellectual Property
The Provider owns the lessons, code, drawings, audio and other material made for GuitarManac, and copyright protects them. You may not copy, change, distribute or publicly show them without written permission.
Songs in GuitarManac belong to their songwriters and publishers. We show chord charts and play-alongs for your personal practice. They do not give you any rights to the songs.
10. Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Share or sell your account access.
- Copy, scrape, redistribute or republish GuitarManac material, song charts, audio or code.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful or to harm the Service or other users.
11. Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms. Your access to the Service then ends right away. You can delete your account at any time by emailing contact@frode.dev.
12. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
We provide the Service "as is". To the fullest extent Norwegian law allows, we disclaim all warranties and limit our liability for damages from using the Service.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Norwegian law governs these Terms. Disputes go to the Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer protection rules give you another option.
14. Changes to the Terms
When we change these Terms, we update the date at the top. If you keep using the Service after a change, the new Terms apply.
