How to practice the minor pentatonic

The minor pentatonic is five notes and the scale most guitar solos use. The orange dots are the root.

Box 1 is the shape to learn first. The other four boxes connect up the neck, so together they cover the whole fretboard in one key.

Change the key to move the same shapes to a new place on the neck. Sequences in threes and fours make your fingers practise the scale the way solos use it.
