How to practice the natural minor
The natural minor scale has the same notes as the major scale, starting from its sixth note. It sounds darker. The orange dots are the root.
Learn one box at a time and keep each finger in its own fret.
Play it over a minor chord and listen for the darker sound against the major scale.
