Gadd9 chord guide

The Gadd9 chord

An add9 chord is a major chord with the 9th on top. It keeps the major sound and adds a ringing, open quality.

Numbers on the dots are fingers: 1 index, 2 middle, 3 ring, 4 pinky. ○ means play the string open and × means don't play it. Orange marks the root note. The tab reads from the low E string to the high E string.
