The Emaj7 chord
A major 7th adds the note one fret below the octave to a major chord. It sounds softer and jazzier than a plain major chord.
Numbers on the dots are fingers: 1 index, 2 middle, 3 ring, 4 pinky. ○ means play the string open and × means don't play it. Orange marks the root note. The tab reads from the low E string to the high E string.
